New idea

I suddenly had an idea. In high school we had to take health, and in that class we had a sex ed segment. I feel there should also be a Domestic violence segment. It could help reduce the number of murders and reduce the need for dv shelters. It might have helped me.

My school definitely touched on the subject, but that was several years ago so my memory doesn't serve me too well, but I remember at least watching a movie about it and discussing being in a controlling relationship and things like that. What do you mean it might have helped you? Are you a victim of domestic violence?

I don't think I ever recall anything about DV in health education back when I was in high school, though it wouldn't hurt to throw it into the mix, who knows, they may even do it now a days. It's a good thing you left that guy, guys who are abusive really light me on fire, you shouldn't have any trouble finding nice and caring people on this site, everyone is friendly from what I have noticed.

I think it does need to be touched upon more in highschool, in college the women's health class had 2 chapters on it and self defense techniques as well
