I've made a huge mistake

It's kinda my only option kidpool :[ I don't like it either but the stores around here only sell windows 8 windows 7 is gone, I use classic shell to make it more like a real windows OS, unfortunately I can't find any other working options to customize the OS :S if y'all find some other than classic shell let me know.

There's a lot wrong with Windows 8 >.> but mainly it's the interface, but that can be changed so then it just becomes an issue of it causing unnecessary crashes and problems with certain programs and games. That stuff should be fixed in time though...generally happens with any 'new' OS

You could just burn Windows 7 onto a DVD+R disk.. and then Install your OS and other drivers. :P Saves you money.

Just install something like Classic Shell to make Windows 8 have more of a Windows 7/XP interface. I use a Windows 8 laptop and I don't even see the Metro interface... ever. classicshell.net

I just build my computer too nd since I don't like 7 or 8 interface I slapped windows xp on mine runs incredible to be honest

I use Classic Shell for windows 8 as well but I'm still looking for a better looking custom interface I used to have a couple of really good ones for windows 7 on my old laptop but I forgot what they were called and I don't have that laptop anymore :[
