Perfect! I'll definitely give it all a read. Since we're on the subject of science fiction, have you ever read Dune?

Yes, I have! It wasn't a bad book, but I didn't go crazy over it. Then again, that may be because at the time I was being peer-pressured into reading it, and my brain tends to resent being rushed into a fandom before it feels like it, haha. I'll have to reread it sometime and give it a second chance.

Everyone has that one series that they're just crazy for and that would be the one for me haha.
Being rushed into it can certainly take away some of the appeal so I understand. It really is a great series once you're willing to take the time to get into it though. I'm currently reading Nightfall and I'm almost one third through it. I'm liking it so far.

I've never heard of it. What's it about? Who's the author?

Dmitry Glukhovsky, post apocalyptic so a little off topic but I thought I might as well share :P

Hmm, I'll probably look that up next time I go to the library. It's close enough to the genre to count, really; a lot of Lovecraft's short stories are like tiny post-apocalypses, having taken place in people instead of in countries or worlds, and Asimov's "Foundation" series starts out sort of post-apocalyptic, with the fall of Empire and the subsequent scattered lack of education and civilization.
