My (ex) boyfriend dumped me a few days ago, and the main reason was my inability to meet new people, talk or hang out with his friends, etc... I can only get out of my house around once or twice a week, and I have to deal with panic attacks on a weekly basis, which made me quit my job. Is it something that would make you give up on a love interest / girlfriend / boyfriend?

Well that sounds really stupid. Me personally wouldn't really mind, I wouldn't break up over that/ lose interests in someone because of it. But then again that might because I'm somewhat the same as you,I presume you do try?
But meh... That's me. I wouldn't really take my opinion XD.

I think his inability to cope with that is his loss, just because someone has panic attacks or has trouble socially isn't a reason to end a relationship from my point of view. If someone is unable to look past certain things about you and see you for the whole picture, or willing to help you work on certain things about yourself without trying to force you to change to conform to their ideals then they're not worth it.

I would date someone like that because I would help them cope with their problem and make friends and family understand the reasoning behind it, but if they cannot then.... oh well.

It depends. I mean, in a perfect world, I'd be so heads over heels in love with my significant other that I'd forgive them for everything and for any situation that can pop up. But unfortunately, real life is real life and sometimes love isn't enough. I like hanging out with my friends, going out, and like go to events. It's very hard to imagine not sharing a large part of my life with someone who is that close to me. I'd understand and I'd still love them, but I wouldn't think a romantic relationship would work out so well.
As to the white knight thing, yeah that's never a good idea. You will inevitably make the situation more complicated and lead yourselves into a whole mess of drama. Also it's kinda sexist, we women can solve our own problems and "fix" ourselves too ya know

I'm going to be honest. No I wouldn't. I value friendship ALOT and I'd love to introduce my like minded GF to my like minded friends, but since you're unable to cope with meeting them due to your anxieties it would just destroy it entirely. Not being able to hang out with my GF and friends simultaneously would be a tremendous dealbreaker. Sorry hun. But I'm sure there're guys out there that'll date you whether you have anxieties or not.

Hmm, I don't go out much myself so that might not actually be much of a problem ahaha. Although the quitting the job part might be a little bit of a problem since that would make it harder for two people to get by with only one person working (assuming both people fresh out of college or in college). Depends I guess. Personally, I might find it a little hard doing some things together with that significant other since there's a limited amount of things you can do. Going out to movies, parks, museums, with your partner etc is nice. Not being able to do that wouldn't be something I'd die over, but it wouldn't also be someone I would like much. It all depends I guess. Until how much I could take and how much I'm willing to sacrifice for that person.
