Wasting my time?

This site is a lot of fun. But it seems that in the dating area I am wasting my time. I seem to be the only dinosaur up here. I have no problem with an age gap but I am not stupid. I know I am not what young Otakus want. I was on a site for geeks that was the same way. Oh well,.... anyone need an Anime Dad??!

LOL - you might think that from a survey of this site! I started watching Anime before they were subtitled and still just love the stuff. Based on family history, I have another 25 to 30 years. Plan to spend a lot of that time watching Anime, thankyou. Appreciate you posting!

Anime lovers come in all ages! I've seen parents enjoy anime while watching it with their kids. Not to mention a number of 3rd Hokage cosplayer's are up there. Anime is about the culture, the artwork, and the storyline. I honestly don't see myself losing interest in anime at 30. Especially classic stuff. Once you like an anime, its almost hard to no longer like it. Sorry for going on a tangent in your post, but kudos to you for sticking with what you love!

I hope to even live as long as you "Ojii-san". But yeah, most people who are in to anime seem to be a lot younger. I live in a huge metropolis and according to this site, only 2 people are close to me :( But they are quite younger than I.

Well I agree with you on the dating on this site, but I've been enjoying the forums. I have a buddy that I watch anime with all the time, and we plan to still be doing it when we're like 90 and in a home.
