What's everyone cosplaying right now? =D

O.o I just looked it up and I'm definitely going to have to go one of these years, would love to bust out some starwars cosplay.

Haha yeah it looks like it will be. Originally my prop maker and I were going to make the manga version because it is so much more simple, but we love to torture ourselves so anime version it is xD. Eventually we're going to cast it out of plastic. I might only have a foam set for Katsucon to get it complete, but in the long run we plan to make an operational set for me. My back plates are going to be actual metal. Oh I know all about those inconsistencies. My prop maker and I have been studying the details of the 3DMG for about a month now. Psh I don't think crossplay is gross :p. I crossplay a lot (if you consider it crossplay, since I identify as male part of the time lol).

You're lucky, girls can crossplay without incident. If I did Junketsu, I'd probably be kicked out of 3/4 of cons. Lamers. And if I did Petra or Mikasa... mm, yeah. lol I try to make my gear as operational as possible, but with con rules, you're pretty much limited. People ask me if my gear works, and I just tell them, "shh, I'll get banned if I show you". But as it is, my blades are detachable. On the manga gear, there's a switch on the handles that spins the fan. On my anime version, I decided to just dumb it down and have it run forever with no switches on both sides. It lasts about 8 hours. I venture it'll be useful for those hot summer cons. For anyone suffering from heat, feel free to place your heads near my bum. I guess I can have it shoot zip lines too but that'd only be good for youtube. Never worked with casting (yet) though. Seems like a lot of work, but a dream for props involving making a billion copies of everything. Which AoT is, even for just one set of gear -_-.

How would one make lightsaber blades detachable? Hmmmm. I guess you can put snow speeders on your waists and have them shoot the zip lines so you can trip titans.
