IV's are Initial Values ( Or stats you get from breeding ) you get when you hatch a pokemon you get from a daycare.. so basically in the game, if your pokemon have good IVs = Your pokemon will be stronger. It's good for competitive battling, if you want the best out of a pokemon.

I have Japanese y so if someone needs a Japanese pokemon for medusa affect just ask. I even trained a couple a couple scatterbugs to see if id get different vivillon but they are all elegant
