Fullmetal Alchemist vs Brotherhood

I don't know if this topic has been done before, but who prefers old FMA or Brotherhood over the other? Just curious to see :3

Brotherhood all the way. They do a better job fleshing out the homunculi and creating a real sense of urgency as the show progesses. That and they still do a great job of firing the sad cannon and hitting you right in the feels-sack after Hughes. ***SPOILERS*** Also Edward drops the best proposal ever in anime

i saw both and i loved both, what i liked about the first one was that it seemed that it had a chance for more episodes, like edward trying to get back to his other world

Yeah, I felt way more emotional attached to the characters in the first one. There was more character development where brotherhood was a lot of action with less goofy wholeheartedness.

@oreo It was damn shocking and made me rage and cry at the same time. Now I dont remember that well since its long time I watched FMA. If I remember right the FMA original had a stronger emotional and shocking scenes but the fight was a lackluster. FMA B had a great fighting scenes + I liked the ending more it was epic! Also I felt there were more focus on Ed than it was on the original one. What really comes is that the FMA orginal go away from the manga and FMA B follow the manga. Both series have their strong and weak sides. If I have to pick probably Brotherhood.

That's true too. I know Nina and shou tucker >.< that episode made me cry so hard. Yeah I have to give brotherhood credit for the fight scenes, they were pretty awesome.

FMA Brotherhood all the way, i love the characters sooo much more, Fuhrer Bradley as wraith doesn't get any better, him and Pride were some of the most badass villains ive ever seen, and when Mustang owns Lust and Envy, pssh nothing even compares, couldn't even watch all of just FMA, just wasn't for me

Brotherhood 100% I watched both, brotherhood was badass
