Who do you think is the best magical girl?

Just a random topic, lol...but there are a bunch to choose from, so who do you think is the best magical girl of all time and why? Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Katio Jeanne, Pretear, or someone not mentioned? Love to hear your opinion ^_^ I might choose Sailor Moon only because she was one of the first, but she can be really ditzy >_<

Does Urd count? ^_^' lol She's a badass goddess that does...magic. Doesn't cry, or whine, is nowhere near ditzy, & her clothes are just awesome. She's exteremely powerful & graceful for a second class goddess. If not I'd say Cardcaptor Sakura for about the same reasons. She's not a goddess, though she could pass for one, but she's extremely cute & mature for her age. She's just so freakin adorable! ^o^

Nurse Witch Komugi-chan. :3 -nodnod- both Soul Taker and her little parody series were both amazing, and she is a hilarious magical girl. The Nurse Witch Komugi series was one of the few Magical Girl ones I can never get sick of, and her spazz attitude always gets me smiling.

There are two magical girls that absolutely make me wonder how sick a twist the genre can be, and are my personal favorites. Dokuro-chan From Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan, and Poemi Watanabe (a.k.a. Kobayashi) from Puni Puni Poemi. They both are dark comedy characters, Poemi in the first minute of the first ep. masacres every other magical girl in existence in a battle royal and Dokuro-chan well let's just say the blood shed, fanservice, and general darkside laughs made my question how warped my taste truely is. To bad just about nobodys fimilar with them at all.

I would have to say the best magical girl would have to be "Sae Sawanoguchi" from "Mahou Tsukai Tai!" She's the strongist magic user in the anime and ditzy with her power. She always makes me laugh.

Those are all good ones too =) And of course I agree Karimoon, Sakura is mature for her age, but also very cute ^_^ Lol, I just remembered Saint Tail from way back when...

Sailor Moon hands down, it's my favorite anime and such a classic. And thin about it, if we didn't have sailor moon would we have other magical girl animes? I mean sailor moon did open that door. Well that's just my opinion I guess. ^^

Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew, or Sakura from Card Captors. Both for about the same reasons. They do what they do to protect people they care about, they are both super adorable and they both have slammin costumes. XD

I agree, sunshine koukla, Ichigo and Sakura are both very cute and sincere =) and sakurakenji, you have a good point..sometimes it looks like many of the transformations of other shows mimic Sailor Moon, which is indeed a classic ^_^ These are all good ones...
