By molested I mean, someone touching your butt and boobs. I've stayed in Japan for a total of 4 months now. I experienced this a couple of times. Even in Universal Studios Japan(that terminator attraction when it's crowded and there's that cyberdyne commercial showing), in a not-so-crowded train and in a cosplay convention here. I am alone and I don't know who to ask help from when this happens. I'm also a foreigner here. So I don't know if screaming for help in a very quiet place would be taken against me. So I felt really scared and helpless. What would you do if you were in those scenarios? Well, what should I do the next time that happens?

Japan and Korea are overrated. Everyone thinks it's the most perfect place and this is why it blows my mind when people want to move there lol. None the less, you should start carrying pepperspray or something and definitely scream regardless if there is not that big of a crowd. You're a lady, do what you have to do to keep yourself safe.

Give them a jab (like with your elbow or something) and tell them to stop and if they don't, 2 words (more practical than an umbrella sword) your KNEE, their GROIN. That or stomp their toe hard.

yell pervert in Japanese. They take it very seriously there. Also, on trains they have normally the last two or the first two carts designated for only women. I was in Japan for a while visiting my Japanese friends so they taught me all that stuf.

When I was in japan visiting my cousin in japan when she was in the JET program it happened a few times to her, she said she would grab the hand and start yelling in Japanese pervert and molester, a few time the crowd turned on the guy and one time I laid the guy out. Definitely start yelling pervert or molester and get an angry mob going.

I remember a girl I knew had some old guy just come up and just straight up grabbed her chest. She slapped him and then he started cussing her out in japanese, but a crowd of students who saw what happened started jeering at the guy and he hustled off. But yeah, not an uncommon story apparently

I'd still use an umbrella sword, a guy stopped a bank robbery with one of those before a couple years back imo its practical all jokes aside (everyone else gives pretty good advice already) you can always chop his hands or balls off with one.
