What do I get with a premium account?

As a premium member, you will have access to all of the newest and greatest features we add to MaiOtaku. You will be able to upload hundreds of pictures, so you will always have a great place to keep your cosplay pictures and share with friends. Your private messages will be saved forever, so you will never lose an important, funny, or memorable message. You can send crushes and other fun stuff to other MaiOtaku members, making you seem even more cool. You can save time with less CAPTCHA, and you get the warm feeling of knowing you're helping MaiOtaku! Some of the features are still in development, but if you join today you'll still get access to them.

What is this subscription thing then?

A recurring subscription is a cheap and easy way to become a paid member to use all of our great features. They renew automatically every month or every three months, and keep you an active paid member.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, anytime you want to! Login to your PayPal account, find the transaction, and click cancel subscription, or email us and we'll do it for you.

Where does the money go?

All of the subscription monies go to improve MaiOtaku. Money can eventually pay for bigger and better servers, faster internet (this means lots more picture uploads), but it currently goes towards towards promoting MaiOtaku at any anime conventions we can attend.

We hold special room parties, convention panels, and events at any anime cons we can to promote MaiOtaku and grow our membership - thus giving you more potential dates, more friends to make, and making MaiOtaku a better place to be. The graph to the right gives you an idea of what we do after we pay for server and hosting costs.
