Based on the seinen mangas Aria and Aqua by Amano Kozue.<br/><br/>Aqua and Aria take place in the twenty-fourth century, on the planet Aqua (formerly Mars), which has been terraformed into a habitable planet covered in oceans and seas.

The story takes place in the year 2301 and Mars became a planet which mankind has tranformed into a place where they can life. Now the planet is known as the planet “Aqua” because most of the planet is covered in water.

Set in the 24th century, mankind has successfully terraformed Mars, making it a habitable planet and renaming it to planet Aqua. Now mostly made up of water and ocean, humans use unmotorized gondolas to travel around their cities.
