Ash is a young boy who has always dreamed of becoming a Pokemon trainer. At age 11 he is gifted his first Pokemon, Pikachu, from Professor Oak.

Parasyte centers on a 17-year-old teen named Shinichi Izumi, who lives with his mother and father in a quiet neighborhood in Tokyo. One night, worm-like creatures called Parasites appear on Earth, taking over the brains of human hosts by entering through their ears or noses.

Gatts, an incredibly powerful warrior, is a lone swordsman in a medieval-type fantasy world. He loses in a battle with a mysterious swordsman named Griffith, who holds a pendant called the Eye of God.

Seven kids at summer camp are unexpectedly transported by digivices to a colorful and enigmatic world. Lost and alone, they are befriended by small digital monsters, Digimons.

10-year-old Satoshi, after finding a Pikachu messing with the wiring in his house, is on a journey to become the greatest Pokemon Master and to beat out his rival, Shigeru. Along the way, he meets with many other Pokemon trainers and advisors, including water-based trainer (and gym leader) Kasumi, ground- and rock-based trainer (and gym leader) Takeshi, and others.
