The curse of an evil witch turns a plain young hat-maker, Sophie, into an old woman. Sophie runs away to confront the witch and become young again when she rescues a trapped animated scarecrow.

The series is initially set in September 2005 Okinawa City (Koza), on Okinawa Island, near the US Kadena Air Base. Over the course of the series, Saya travels across the world, from Japan to Vietnam, Russia, France and finally the US.

Cross Academy is different from any other school. It has a Day Class and a Night Class, with different uniforms and no interaction between these two classes.

Haruhi Fujioka is searching for nothing more than a quiet place to study in the most elite high school academy in all of Japan when she stumbles across the mysterious third music room. Inside she encounters six beautiful men, the members of the host club.
