The story revolves around Rin Okumura, a teenager possessing abnormal strength and endurance who, along with his younger twin brother Yukio, was raised by Father Shiro Fujimoto. Soon after Yukio departs to study at the prestigious True Cross Academy, Rin learns that he is the son of Satan, the strongest of all demons.

In Alamos Town, a large shrine to Dialga and Palkia, the Space-Time Tower, sits. But when Dialga and Palkia begin to battle in their dimension, the fight spills over into the Pokémon world, trapping Alamos Town away from the rest of the world.

A Pokémon Collector, Lawrence III, wishes to capture the three legendary birds and follow the legend's tale. This is all part of his plan to capture the Beast of the Sea, Lugia.

Dr. Fuji, a research scientist of Team Rocket, briefly describes in a prologue how his researchers uncovered a fossil of the remnants of Mew, one of the rarest Pokémon in existence, believed to be extinct (although this is not the case).

10-year-old Satoshi, after finding a Pikachu messing with the wiring in his house, is on a journey to become the greatest Pokemon Master and to beat out his rival, Shigeru. Ash is a young boy who has always dreamed of becoming a Pokemon trainer. At age 11 he is gifted his first Pokemon, Pikachu, from Professor Oak.

Also known as Pokemon Adventures, this series chronicles different adventures based after various Pokemon games. It is generally darker than the anime and related materials, and more accurate to the world portrayed in the video games.
