A lot of them had to do with what you were talking about. Pollution control and environmental management. And also, there was study that managed to cure cancer, but that went on to go ignored and unfunded too. Fact is, big pharma makes a huge profit by keeping that around.) But do you know why I care about atmospheric climate change? Because we stopped having consistent winters in Southern Ohio about 20 years ago. I've watched it happen. And if you look at the longterm cycles of the earth, we've been due for another ice age right about now. And instead, the polar ice caps are melting, and countries above the artic circle are experiencing a few dangerous prehistoric bacterias that were frozen in that very same permafrost. We're talking shit that human beings have never been around to develop antibodies before. Imagine that shit coming down from Canada, the way Tuberculosis did at the turn of the century. One of the ways we could fix it? We already have effective alternatives to the energy grids we've been dependent on for so long. The tech in that department has come a long way. Hell, we don't even have to get rid of all coal and gas plants. Just get enough infrastructure for a more diversified system in place, and you already cut the CO2 emissions considerably. In the nuclear department, the research on Thorium as a Uranium replacement is going underway with some promising, much safer results. But it will be a while before we see anything about that, thanks to Putin unceremoniously trying to invade Ukraine, and the EU having to reallocate their budgeting to build up their militaries as a response. Tech for wind and Solar has made some considerable advancements in the past few years. And building that infrastructure needed for any of these will make millions of jobs. But that's only the US. China and India also have to make an effort. As for funding... Well, you know how much money we pump into our navy to patrol commercial shipping lanes for international trade? You know that bloated military budget that allowed generals in Iraq and Afghanistan to slurge on mansions? We could easily fund it everything with just a fraction of what we shovel into those departments.

The DMC, the party with no ideas only want to keep the world running the way it is. Their people care. They've lived in this world. They've seen the horrors. Their politicians don't. All they do is patch holes in the seems. They can only mitigate climate change based on what they propose. Truth is, they're scared of change. (And a quite a few of them were in on the child diddling too. Epstein gravitated to whoever was in power at the time, like all parasites do.) The RNC, the party with all bad ideas has an even bleaker future in mind. Much of right wing politics for the past 30 years, as it turns out, only exists to create a collection of citizens who will cover for the crimes for a group of pedofile rapist murderers. That's where divisive politics gets us in the end. Their leaders never had a plan to make anything better, and the world knows that now. This is where the "Divide and conquer" strategy leaves us all. On a desolate chunk of ice, too far from the shore, the warmth, and the security of our communities to make any effective change in the world. Real change happens first at the icy shore. Where penguin people live. Get off of online chat forums and message boards and get in there. Look the penguins you normally don't talk to (or may not entirely listen to) in the eyes for a change. That's how real connections are formed. A nation is one thing at the end of the day. Its people.
