I'm also up for story wise anime. It doesn't have to be action the whole time and each episode. Iron-blooded orphans is like that too. I'm watching RahXephon right now, one episode at a time though. It's fun to watch and that's okay. I'll first have to be able to find those anime you mentioned. I really don't bench watch anime, so it will take some time before I finish it.
Turn a Gundam? Really? What attracted you to that Gundam series? I found the action disappointing and the characters disappointing. I guess the whole setting and idea of the series were pretty neat, but I really had to force myself to watch it. Well, I'm really thinking that Iron-blooded Orphans will be my new favourite gundam series. I really loved Fafner in the Azure as well. I haven't seen the series you mentioned. I'll put them on my to watch list.
Oh wow, actually a person that likes the mecha genre as well. I'm a huge Gundam fan (although not that big compared to others) and I've seen I think almost every Gundam serie, special and movie. I still need to read the manga of several Gundam series, but here in Europe Gundam isn't popular at all and all the Gundam manga aren't getting here. I can't read Japanese, so getting them from Japan isn't an option as well. So, which mecha series did you like the most?
