Hello everyone! I started getting into anime when i was in High school. A friend of mine lent me disc 2 of Cowboy Bebop and i got hooked. I fell in love with anime and began to watch more. I also play video games although not as often as i used to. I've played through Silent hill 2 and watched most of 3 being played through xD. I've played Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy 7, 8, part of 9, and 10. I'm kind of all over the board with games. I also got into cosplaying more seriously than i ever anticipated. I had some sewing experience but i never really applied it too much...until i made a silent hill 2 nurse cosplay in 2010. I really hadnt sewn anything in years mainly because i just never thought of doing something like this. I have no idea why I didnt start cosplaying earlier but i guess maybe it's a good idea i waited. I actually honed my own artistic skills and pushed myself without even realizing it. Anyways, i was actually making the nurse costume for Halloween since, well, it fits :3 but right when i was about to finish the costume a friend told me a convention was coming up in early 2011 (very close to where i live...like 6 blocks away.). I was EXCITED! I couldnt believe i'd actually be able to wear this costume 3 times (Pre-covention party, halloween and convention). I ended up winning at the pre-convention party, convention, and even won 2nd place at halloween at a bar lol. I was floored. I did NOT expect anything at all. Sure this probably sounds like i'm bragging but tbh i had no clue what i was in for. I though i'd give it a shot and i'd see what would happen. I wore the nurse costume this year as well and got amazing reception. The smiles on peoples faces are priceless and it makes me so happy knowing i did something right with it all. I'm currently working on a Lulu FFX cosplay and it's almost finished. I put about 5-6 months of work into it (not counting the year where i didnt work on it but just fixed up my design for it). It's a super expensive costume @@ good lord.
Other than my sewing endeavors and anime, I play the bass guitar, draw, paint, sculpt helmets for a friend xD, and watch movies when i can (usually action, horror, comedy stuff).
