Cardboard is great for gun barrels ;) It's always amazing what you can come up with for materials for props from random stuff lying around the house. Have a good night :) I need to go to bed soonish myself to get up for work tomorrow.

I bet japan was beautiful. The closet I have ever been to Japan was through anime, documentaries, and Google earth lol Wow they visited you. That was sweet of them ^_^ I bet your better at Japanese than you think. Im learning Japanese on my own. I find it much easier to learn how to read in Japanese first before learning what each phrase means. Its a lot of fun. My dream is to move to japan as well. Either to be a film director, rtvf teacher or a psychologist up there. Your choices of major is very interesting =D I know you will succeed in your goal. Kintaro means golden boy. Its suppose to a Japanese folk story. LOL all of the anime that I have on my computer is bootleg. So don't feel bad. I have all of the Naruto movies, and the second Death note live action movie. I plan on collecting more, but sadly i have to buy them online. I don't mind paying for them but it cost a lot for shipping these days. =/ If you have an iphone or a itouch of any kind you should download manga rock or unity You can download a lot of mangas for free =D

Oh yeah its a good series. I started watching Hellsing back in 2003. I read the manga and I've been enjoying the ultimate series so far.

I'm always keeping random stuff like that just in case for cosplays, I also always keep cardboard tubes cause you never know when you might need one for a prop. Yeah, I never heard of one too till someone on an anime meetup group i'm part of posted about it.

Arakawa Under the Bridge looks and sounds really good. Is it on netflix at all? Ow you haven't seen it already, you should check out a self made documentary called "Kintaro walks Japan". It was made in 2002 by a guy name Tyler (dont know his last name. Anyway he walks the length of japan to prove his love to a Japanese girls, who was a foreign exchange student in California. They reenacted a lot of there scenes but it was a really good watch. Well for me it was. You can watch the whole thing on youtube or google.

You regarding a con at a high school. You could sent a meetup. there is this app called meetup you can post it there and you would know how many are interested right of the bat. Just thought. I also wish someone would open a cosplay cafe. That would be the coolest thing. I might like to just that some day. It would be a cool retirement business.

Also, struggling in the cosplay department since I don't resemble any character. I do enjoy cosplay specially when I have time to make the stuff my self.

Arigato, I wish I knew as much Japanese as you. I been trying to make time to learn it. Just can't seem to get around to it. I will succeed one day I hope. Yes this pic I liked. I couldn't figure out what anime characters my personality matches. I think I am getting close. I am just all over the place as far as personality is concerned.
