The ticket was $1700 dollars but they could have gotten it for $1300. My dad just opted for the direct flight. But that all depends on where you are flying from. I'm flying out of chicago. I will take a lot of pictures ^^ I have to make a conscious effort to lol because otherwise I just like to experience things.

I'm a bit picky when it comes to anime....not that I won't watch anything it just takes a little extra to get me obsessed with it lol. Yea I just started watching death note at akon so I've seen bits and pieces of it and just fell in love with it so I hope u enjoy it:3 Haha well if I was going to suggest any anime/manga it would b Saiyuki since that's my favorite:3

my parents were kind enough to buy me the plane ticket :) So I had to save up about $1,000 that I am going to take (I actually have more than that, but I'm not taking it all lol). I am going to be there for a month but I am staying with one of our past exchange students, so no hotel or food costs. I am planning on doing a bunch of things with my exchange student, though, so that will probably add up. That and I hope to buy a Kimono.
