Not that anyone will read this (because I know I wouldn't), but hello. I'm... not sure what to say about myself, to be honest. I have two masters degrees and work in an academic library, and have written four YA fantasy fiction novels (which I came very close to getting published on two distinct occasions, but always a bridesmaid, never a bride, it would seem). I'm divorced and pretty lonely, and seem to have exhausted all my options on Match, PoF and OKC (not that doing so was difficult - I'm not really looking for your "average" girl, so choices were pretty limited). I'm introverted and shy, and don't really care for social gatherings, which makes it next to impossible to meet people. And, while I enjoy anime, I wouldn't say it defines me - it's just one of my varied interests. I'd love to find someone new to share my life with, but - in case you couldn't tell - I'm not feeling particularly optimistic about my chances.

Because I got divorced. It happens. I guess I'm lucky (though it didn't feel like it at the time) that we didn't have any children. Now I'm in my mid 30s and... feeling a bit lost. I don't honestly think I fit in with this 'swipe left, swipe right' new world order.
