When I was about two years old, I almost died from a really bad ear infection-- if the infection had gone into my brain the way the doctors said it would if it went untreated, I wouldn't be here now. ovo; Also, I'm such a big fan of Transformers that in my sophomore year of high school I was simply known as "the Transformers girl" to everyone outside my closest friends, since I had an Autobot hoodie I would always wear. ovo

Big thing is to just have fun and practice. ^^ Personally, I got where I am by looking at various show's styles and mimicking it, whether it's the coloring style, the proportions of characters, or things like that. Over time, everything just kinda mashed into my current style. It got me to a place where I'm happy with my style, and things like proportions and things are much easier to figure out, which is a major plus. Tutorials are also a major help, too! They can help you figure out how to do things a certain way, and you can even find out how to make things your own after playing with things long enough. Another thing I'm found is that the medium you work with can also help you get more comfortable with your art. If you're using a tablet, there are a multitude of art programs you can toy with, and eventually find the one that "works best" for you. SAI, FireAlpaca, GIMP, Paint.Net, Photoshop, the list goes on. Just rummage around and see which program fits best with what you wanna do! And the BIGGEST thing is to draw for yourself. Draw how you wanna draw, draw what you wanna draw, and draw when you wanna draw. As artists, we owe it to ourselves to enjoy our creations! So go out there and have fun and enjoy your progress! Augh, I wrote a lot. XD Sorry about that! Still, I hope this made sense and helped, even if only a little bit.
