Yep, in particular young adults/teens wrongly convicted probably so it would be easier to relate for the performers. Shows can be light-hearted and whimsical or cover darker and more serious topics like this one. I distinctly remember performances about soldiers' PTSD from the war in Afghanistan to even a show about holocaust survivors. You do have to have the maturity to be able to properly perform such topics so generally these groups are in college or older compared to the highschoolers in the performance I showed you. Are there any hobbies you're particularly passionate about?

If you like orchestral music you might like "Secrets" by OneRepublic, they use a cello and a viola(?) in that song too. I heard plenty of Florence + the Machine when I was in guard, the ones that immediately come to my head are Cosmic Love and Drumming Song. It definitely was for me, winter guard and marching band really allowed me to push my body to its limits and made me so much more confident in myself. Here's a show from one of the best scholastic groups just to show you what made me enjoy it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApByHbF7nvw Sorry if I'm boring you; I'm incredibly passionate about guard and marching band and could talk about it for hours. ^^;

I grew up watching Pokemon and all that fun stuff ,but the first shows I was really obsessed with were Yu Yu Hakushow and Inuyasha when I was in middle school. At some point they moved both of those shows to the late night slot and I started staying up till 3am to watch anime on adult swim, which was pretty hardcore in middle school. I remember turning on the tv one night and seeing the scene from the first episode of Full Metal Alchemist where they're performing the transmutation and thinking HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THIS?!
