Some say ithat My-Otome is a sequel to My-Hime when that happens I kinda nod, and then say its not a direct sequel. In my opinion is just an alternative world with familiar characters and has very little connection to My-HiME. I read a few manga pages of Kobato when it was in the Newtype USA magazine a few years back. Quite exciting to see it animated, so far its been cute. The animation is well done and expected so I think the productn crew did a good job in recreating it. I watched Durarara a few weeks ago and it was good, but majority of my friends (including me) watched it after the anime. Baccano!, which by a lot us say is well laid out better than Drrr by comparison. Although, age/set demographic that is intended is a bit different especially conent, character age, and stoytelling.

Anything Japanese, anime, manga, video game related stuff I can find out about. For example. Persona 5 is in development. And maybe released in a couple of years. But if you need more proof, ask me anything otaku related and ill answer it.

I heard about Panda Cafe and majority of the people I know who have seen it like it. I never seen it myself. I currently am keeping up to date in watching "Muv-Luv Alternative" Kobato" and "Sword Art Online" I don't know if I want to call them an obsession, but if there was one anime that I classify as one — I would say the "My-HiME' and "My-Otome" series because I can more the DVDs, CDs, figures, and posters for the series. That was when my anime collecting was at its peak haha oops.

I'll PM my deviantart page. Yeah, those are my two artist that I could pick for right now at the top of my head. You might recognize some of the animes they also contribute. If you have not yet seen them, then that's fine maybe some other time. How often do you watch anime? I like to keep up to date of whats out anime wise, but if I have not yet seen it and its something that can be discussed then I make a point in trying to watch it :D

I don't have works that try to imitate Murata;s work, but I like his works, epsecially when he did Blue Submarine No.6 and Last Exile. I dont necessarily compare myself to a well known artist, but I am intrigued in how Yoyshitoshi Abe's older techniques. Some people consider my character style old school comparably to those in the 80s. My Japanese friend said that I should start drawing characters from the first Gundam series haha
