Anime from this season I would recommend Pet and Id: Invaded for action/psychological/Investigation. Other than that... Like others have said, anime has become very generic for the most part. We see the same tropes and same hooks that it is like watching the same Play with different actors. Although if you enjoy reading manga I would suggest Sun-Ken Rock or Psyren.

Definitely like psychology myself.
-There are the ; series. Steins ; Gate, Chaos ; Head. Some of them are okay while some of them just gets confusing. Steins;Gate was a masterpiece imo.
-My favorite when it comes to psychology has to be When They Cry which is classified as psychological horror. This anime was really hard to continue because there are some really childish episodes and confusing moments but if you just get through those you are hooked. Season 1 = Questions, Season 2 = Answers.
I had to drop it about 3 times before i finlly got through the whole thing.
