I'm hoping to go, I need a hotel room and permission from my professors to miss classes on the Friday before I know for sure though. I've been the past 3 years and would hate to miss it.

I'd probably spend a good amount of time working on cosplay. I'm gonna assume in this scenerio I have enough money to have set up my own workshop, so I'd keep doing carpentry for personal projects.
