That's definitely not what it says in the black and white. The earth's still here, not one stroke of a pen of the old testament rules have been gotten rid of. I don't say its all rotten. The stuff about treating other people nice is great. Other religions have that stuff too. Now if we could get rid of all the lies and hate in them, that'd be fine. Treat other people right. Not because of divine retribution in some afterlife that may or may not exist, but because you just shouldn't be a horrible person. No, but then I've never been to a 'peaceful' christian nation either. Ok, that's a lie, I've been to Canada a few times, they've got a good thing going.

Jesus is here to turn everyone against one another: Matthew 10:34-36 “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35For I have come to turn “ ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— 36a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household." - Jesus and All the old testament rules still apply: Matthew 5:17-20 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven." - Jesus now tell me I've taken it out of context, because Christianity is somehow special and is the only one where the lines in their holy book that condemn people to the torch don't apply. Go on, be the teacher of the law. What problems do you have with Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Turkey, UAE, Albania, ...
