Deadman Wonderland was my favorite I've watched recently, Shiro was just too awesome of a character not to love it. I haven't seen anything Saiyuki, not because I wasn't interested or anything, it just always got pushed back by other recommendations. Did you enjoy it? Detective Conan looks intimidating, having over 600 episodes; how far into the series are you? You're going to a convention? Do you go to them whenever you get the chance? As for them not being as good as they are here, conventions are all about the atmosphere of enjoying anime around other people; as long as you get to meet other cool people then they are absolutely as good. You said didn't have time to watch Gunlock because of work, what is it you do for work? And yes, I like Japanese music, I am a big music person. Most recently I've been listening to The Pillows, ClariS, and Capsule. What about you? Do you like music? Japanese only or other types?
