I'm a mechanical engineer and a geek in every sense of the word. I'm into Star Trek, Anime (a lot of anime. I am an otaku), Dungeons and Dragons, video games you name it. I'm active volunteer/staffer/panelist with the local convention scene here in Atlanta. So if you're a regular at Momocon, AWA, Dragoncon, etc chances are we've seen each other at some point.
My current main activity, aside from running conventions and watching lots of anime, is Historical European Martial Arts or HEMA. This means several times a week I dress up in a padded jacket and fencing mask and go swing a blunt metal sword at people.
Other than that I'm pretty easy-going about life. I prefer to remain as flexible as possible to take advantages of opportunities as the present themselves.
