.net is nice to use, but in your case if you cant create/use DLLs or stored procedures, it sounds like it would be a large pain. We get a lot of freedom in our code so long as we follow a coding standard. I also work with a lot of SQL statements and Oracle for both new functionality and bug fixing. Additionally, the Automated testing tools we use are written in c#. So that is always fun and interesting to watch a bunch of machines work all by themselves to perform testing.

So, What kind of technology do you work with as a Developer? The work that I do with the C# and .net are for government retirement systems for major government entities across the States. Also working on a Senior Design project that is looking like we are going to be writing in Unity (c#) for Android/IOS.
