Hi, there! I love reading, and I obviously like/love anime and manga. I'm looking for someone to hang out with as well as someone to date, expecting something casual (not "fling" casual, but "hanging out without going steady" casual) but looking forward to the possibility of something serious. I will warn you, while I'm not at all physically touchy when it comes to most people, I'm willing to be about as cuddly as the other person cares for me to be when they're one of my close friends or otherwise favourite people.

I frequent Naka-kon when not completely broke (though I can usually wrangle up some funds when I'm merely practically broke), but haven't gotten to go to any other conventions. I consider myself a Minecraft fanatic and a pegasister/brony/whatever, but not so much that I can guarantee that I won't get bored of both or either in the next couple of years without someone else around who likes them. I'm also a part of the Homestuck fandom, though not a fanatic, and I really don't take offense if 90% of you stopped reading at the phrase "Homestuck fandom". Other games I like are mostly RPGs (sandbox, linear, and everything in between), The Sims, and (non-H) dating sims.

When it comes to anime and manga, I like horror, romance, and comedy series, including action-romance. My favourite setting is realism plus magic or exaggerated realism plus magic. Oddly, I like action manga but could take or leave action anime.
As for other forms of media, I tend to like comedy, romance, adventure, and farce, and I tend to like deconstructed fantasy (especially Gaiman and Pratchett, and other humorous and observant writers) and deconstructed/reconstructed sci-fi, including Steampunk. I'll read pretty much anything genre-wise, and I like a lot of webcomics though I have a tendency to fall behind on all of them and do an archive binge every few months or years.

Oh, and just to be up front about things: IMPORTANT: Uwagh, I hate when places ask for "Gender" instead of sex and only give two options, since I'm MtF. I just picked "male" because I didn't want to shun gay guys and straight girls who don't care, and didn't want to be formally accused of misrepresentation what with still being male in the bits the government checks for your ID licenses. If you're transphobic or just find that unattractive/unpleasant, I'm just going to be a total waste of your time.

As for my looks, which I decided should come after the previous paragraph: I'm quite tall (6' to 6'2.5" depending on the scale and the status of my spine). I think I'm unattractive but other people tend to think I'm at least average if not attractive regardless of whether they assume I'm male or female. I vary between curvy (I've actually got the bone structure to support it) and just plain pudgy or even fat, depending on your opinion of the border between pudgy and fat. At the moment, I'm more in the way of pudgy and dumpy, thanks to extenuating circumstances such as not being able to afford a healthy diet or replacement electric razor while temporarily living out-of-state, and still not being able to afford a replacement razor. My best two attributes in my opinion are the hair on my scalp, which is fine yet strong and a pleasant copper/gold/clear mix (from my eyebrows down, everything else has weird variations in color) and my grey-green "hazel" irises (though my odd Sioux-Dutch-Castillian-Norse bone structure and eyelid shape detract from them).
