I believe you mentioned not playing games but I thought you might like this song. It's from Chrono Trigger. It's a time traveling story. One area you visit is 12,000 BC. It's during the ice age but there is a floating city with The Enlightened Ones. They are masters of magic. This is the song that plays while you are in the floating city.

永遠のルナ一 @eternallunar1 Speaking as someone who hasn't played many Square Enix games, Chrono Trigger has stood the test of time as a timeless RPG. You can replay the game and find new things to discover. But the music is soooo good. Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu both wrote the music for this game. They're fantastic composers and such an amazing team. xP
