My name is Dakota. I'm a dedicated writer with a love for storytelling of any kind, and I plan on getting a BA in Film and Electronic Arts at Cal State Long Beach to see my stories come to life. I'm a huge anime buff and a gamer and I love watching movies, but I can also be very social and love to get out with friends whenever I can. I also love spending time with the family and trying new things like experimenting with food and going to new places.
I love music, especially classic rock, jazz, game OSTs, and even a good epic classical piece. I'm not terribly active physically (except biking to school), but I do love taking walks and traveling. I've been all over the United States: born in California and with relatives in North Carolina, I was actually raised in New Jersey most of my life until high school, where I moved to San Diego.
I'm a writer and a very dedicated one too, with a love for sci-fi, fantasy, and slice of life settings. I can be a heavy thinker sometimes and a bit shy/flustered at first, but I'll get talkative and energetic with time. I love a good conversation about any kind of topic I can wrap my head around, especially politics, philosophy, psychology, science, or about writing, but I honestly love conversations about anything.
I should also mention that I'm on more of the liberal side of politics and prefer philosophies to religion.
I want to get into a serious relationship eventually, but if we go out on a few dates and it doesn't work, then no hard feelings at all.
