I spend my free time playing chess, exercising, and watching anime. Anime is such a big part of my life and it's been a long-term dream of mine to share that with someone.
I grew up in a complicated situation where my parents were divorced, and they fought for well over a decade in court. Regardless of which parent I lived with, we were very poor and at one point I was essentially homeless for a few months. I think I responded to this in the best way possible and taught myself many lessons, to a large extent using anime characters and themes. This may seem cringe to some people, but I think my results in life speak for themselves. A good example of this would be when I was 10 or 11 and being yelled at for some reason I don't remember. In the past, I had always yelled back, but watching anime and seeing conversations like the one between naruto and nagato, it just hit me that it didn't have to be this way, and that I could embody those things that inspired me. In fact, if I didn't, it would betray the strong emotions I felt when watching those moments.
